Adarsha Shikshan Mandali  set up  A.I.I.T. with the primary aim of providing scientific and methodical education regarding Computers and Information Technology with their own independent institute with a full time faculty for this purpose.  

          The facilities provided at the institute include :- 

• One computer for every two students.

• Well-equipped and air-conditioned laboratory with lab assistants.

• Modern classroom set up.

• Round the clock Internet connection. 

Presently, about 5000 students from our member schools are availing of these state-of-art facilities. In addition, about 60 teacher trainees from our B.Ed. College as well as students from our Management institute are also being trained here. Information and Technology has been included as a subject in Junior Colleges in the curriculum of the Arts, Commerce and Science streams since July 2001. As a part of this curriculum, students are expected to do the practical work in well-equipped computer laboratory.
