Mrs
Naseem Shaikh has been awarded the Honeywell Hometown
Solutions Scholarship for the year 2010. This entitles
her to participate in an incredible professional
development NASA training programme to be held at US
Space and Rocket Centre in Huntsville, Alabama.This year
, 220 teachers from19 countries and 46 states well be
participating in this training.It is highly commendable
and appreciable that Mrs Naseem Shaikh is a part of this
prestigious programme.
A.L.P - Active Learning Programme
Programme has been organized by Sheffield
Hallam Universcity (U.K) and the ISSET (U.K.) where
Chris Barber is the director.The Programme was
introduced to school by Mr. Sandeep Joshi Director,
Apollo Mission.School Principal Mrs. Bhaskar and some
teachers attended a day long workshop. on Active
Learning Techniques.
Mrs. Naseem shaikh was nominated as the
coordinator for their Programme.The lessons at the ALP
were conducted by Mrs. Chandra Bagade, Mrs Sujata
Deshpande and Mrs. Jayashree Narayana.Mrs. shaikh
observed the lessons and oversaw the entire proceedings,
having executed all the said duties of the coordinator,
and has now been selected to go to 'Sheffield' for a
week as a representative of the School to attend a 4 day
workshop at the 'Sheffield Hallam University in May 2010

having bagged such honoured and prestigious dual
opportunities.
