The Director of the Institute of Management
Education, Dr. P.C. Shejwalkar, has to credit 55 years
teaching experience in higher education and more than 44 years experience as the
Research Guide for Doctoral studies. He is the one who started full time
Management Masters Degree Course in the city of Pune. He was the Dean of the
Faculty of Commerce earlier for several years and also the Dean of the
faculty of management in the University of Pune for 8 years. He
has received a large number of awards for his contribution in Management
Education, such as award from a top management club, The Residency Club, The
Cosmos Bank, Manibhai Desai Award etc. The All India Management Education, New
Delhi, has conferred a Fellow Membership long back on him.
University of
Pune has nominated him as Professor Emeritus of Commerce and Management Sciences
in University of Pune. He has written more than 30 books relating to
Commerce and Management, and has given more than 4000 Professional and Public
Lectures.
Till date 79 students have secured Doctoral degree under his guidance as Research
Guide.
The 21st Century is considered
